Kitchen Production Technician
Laurier Kitchens is a leader in the kitchen cabinet industry, recognized for its expertise and commitment to quality and innovation. We are looking for a Production Technician to join our team and ensure an efficient transition between design and manufacturing.
MAIN TASKS
- Analyze the technical plans and files received from kitchen designers for cabinets to be produced.
- Oversee the production process by coordinating the various stages.
- Optimize manufacturing processes to ensure quality and profitability.
- Collaborate with design, production, and installation teams to ensure proper follow-up.
- Troubleshoot any technical issues related to manufacturing.
- TWork closely with designers, project managers, and workshop operators.
SKILLS
- Ability to understand and analyze technical drawings and cabinet plans.
- Experience with software like AutoCAD, Microvellum, or SketchUp.
- Knowledge of various materials used in cabinet manufacturing, such as wood, laminates, polymers, etc.
- Preparation and monitoring of documents required for manufacturing.
- Ability to identify and correct errors in plans or production processes.
- Strong communication skills to work with different departments.
- Ability to manage priorities and propose improvements.
DESIRED PROFILE
- DEP, DEC, or equivalent in design, building drafting, cabinetmaking, computer-assisted manufacturing, or any related field.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microvellum, and SketchUp software would be an asset.
- Knowledge of standards and regulations in the kitchen cabinet manufacturing industry.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years.
